Community Engagement

We believe that a strong community is built on connection, mutual respect, and shared vision. We organise regular Hui and workshops for our trust and community members. Through these Hui, we aim to keep our community informed, encourage active participation, and nurture a sense of unity.

Knowledge and Education

Te Tawa Kaiti Lands Trust is proud to support a range of local initiatives that focus on the preservation and promotion of Te Ao Māori. This includes support for local schools with Te Reo literacy programs, providing skilled employment opportunities for our whanau, and support for local Marae with the provision of kai and other resources.

Environmental Stewardship

We are passionate advocates for environmental stewardship. Our initiatives include undertaking native tree reforestation projects, protecting our waterways, and maintaining habitat for local wildlife. We are proud to be caretakers of our land, and strive to tread lightly on our whenua whilst maximising the benefits to our stakeholders.
